Corporate Bank (CB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporate and financial institutions worldwide.

Subsidiaries Coverage Banker-Relationship Manager is responsible for coverage of the portfolio of corporate clients and cross product sales with focus on Trade Finance, Cash Management and Foreign Exchange products for the Turkish subsidiaries of global clients of Deutsche Bank in various sectors.

As the Local Relationship Manager, you will be the first point of contact for the subsidiaries of our focus clients. You will liaise with the local Finance Director/CFO and Treasurers and treasury team of such corporates and become their trusted relationship manager, positioning Deutsche Bank as their preferred banking partner.

In order to achieve this, it is critical that you engage with the Global Relationship Managers (and/or Regional Relationship Managers) and Product Sales Officers, above all adhere to and comply with the Bank’s KYC & AML policies, local and global regulations/laws.

Your Key Responsibilities and expectations from the role

  • Establishing and maintaining effective and continuous relations with the subsidiaries of multinational companies connected with the global portfolio of Deutsche Bank in its allocated portfolio in Turkey within the scope of Turkey's responsibility for relations
  • Cross product sales; Cash management, Trade Finance and Treasury
  • Identify opportunities, structure complex solutions and execute
  • Identify key prospects in Türkiye and monetize these opportunities
  • Ability in deep understanding business activity of the clients’ businesses
  • Credit skills and a satisfactory understanding of financial statements and preparation of successful business requests.
  • While retaining existing revenues through close client relationships and frequent client calling activities are expected (visits/phone and video calls)
  • Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to organize and deliver presentations to clients and internal
  • Maintenance of client satisfaction and ability to resolve on a timely basis all client problems/queries to ensure best-in-class customer service.
  • Treasurer and C-suite client connectivity with top global multinationals, new business development, analysis and enhancement of business processes
  • Ensuring in close cooperation with Global Relationship Management and Product Sales teams that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our client across different geographies and products are explored.
  • Form and participate in Client Service Teams with product teams for key relationships to deliver tailor made solutions and providing follow up as required.
  • Establish and maintain ‘Know Your Client’ profiles and other required client information in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures
  • Assist team leaders to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as prompt work process adjustments from time to time to adapt to changes in the market/regulatory environments.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Graduate of Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University in Business Administration/ Finance/Economics/International Relations
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate banking, preferably at an international bank with multi-nationals clients experience
  • Have strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Turkish, any other foreign language is a plus.
  • High understanding of corporate banking products; trade finance, cash management and foreign exchange
  • Good networking and social skills,
  • Satisfactory knowledge of legislation and regulations with regards to Banking, have very good command of Legal, Compliance, Credit and Risk Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to organize and deliver presentations to clients and internal
  • Credit skills and a satisfactory understanding of financial statements and preparation of successful business requests
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving competence, able to work multitask with deadlines, hardworking, no obstacle to travel
  • Flexibility, versatility, perseverance
