Social Media Consultants & Analysts
to join our talent community and be considered for future opportunities within the European Institutions.
In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and optimisation of social media and digital communication activities. Depending on the assignment, you may be involved in content creation, community management, social media analytics, performance measurement, audience insights, campaign optimisation, and strategic reporting.

Your Responsibilities
As a Social Media Consultant & Analyst, you may
- Develop, create, and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
- Support the planning, implementation, and optimisation of organic and paid social media campaigns.
- Manage online communities and engage with audiences across digital channels.
- Monitor social media conversations, trends, and emerging topics relevant to communication objectives.
- Collaborate with communication, web, digital, and audiovisual teams to deliver integrated communication strategies.
- Contribute to the production of visual, graphic, and multimedia content for social media campaigns.
- Define, monitor, and evaluate social media KPIs and performance metrics.
- Analyse campaign performance, audience behaviour, engagement trends, and channel effectiveness.
- Conduct social listening, benchmarking, and performance monitoring activities.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve content performance, audience engagement, and campaign results.
- Monitor industry trends, platform developments, and digital communication best practices.
- Support data-driven decision-making through regular and ad hoc reporting.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Political Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, digital communication, social media analytics, community management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their functionalities.
- Experience with social media management, monitoring, analytics, and advertising tools.
- Knowledge of social media reporting methodologies and performance measurement frameworks.
- Ability to analyse data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar solutions is considered an asset.
- Excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in content creation, graphic design, or audiovisual production is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset combined with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Interest in European affairs and institutional communication is a strong asset.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
