What you will do As a Senior Associate, you will build core consulting skills and be involved in every phase of a consulting engagement, from pre-proposal research through final implementation. Once you join the GEP family, you will benefit from a structured learning curriculum and be assigned a mentor to enable your success and career progression. Soon after your orientation period, you will join a project team, working at a client location, sharing your ideas, solving problems and providing solutions in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing, and technology. This role will build your project management skills as you partner with our clients to drive digital transformation, change management and cost reduction initiatives. You will interact directly with clients to further develop your communication and presentation abilities while delivery world-class solutions daily. Offer insights into strategic solutions then recommend action and implement those solutions at Fortune 500 clients Gather and analyze data to help develop solutions Helpi to generate proposals and lead certain client and analyst teams Gain opportunities to create intellectual capital and recruit new consultants Workclosely with senior management and clients to create customized purchasing proposals Analyze client spend data and create deliverables for the project Introduce suppliers to the client's purchasing needs, eSourcing process, and reverse auction technology Understand client needs to provide flawless service ‘ Assist with business development activities Partner with Corporate Communications to increase awareness of our services Communicate with senior management to develop selling tools for key clients Growth Opportunity: Candidates will have opportunities to further develop their skills as part of their continuous professional development through various training and development programs offered within GEP. As an Associate you will: Be exposed to on-going training to enhance client relationship management skills Grow your category knowledge to expert levels Gain diverse exposure to GEP’s clients in several industry verticals – Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Automotive, CPG, etc. Lateral career progression (upon proven capabilities) to GEP’s service roles – Supply Chain, Technology and other Consulting areas What you should bring Proven academic excellence with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field with a GPA of 3.3 or above Demonstrated excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills Strong academic, extracurricular, or kwoledge in business, or relevant industry areas is needed Demonstrated highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously and utilize presentation and interpersonal skills daily Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite: including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (ability to create complex formulas and analyze large data sets) English advanced (Spanish is a plus) As GEP experiences active and rapid growth, we’re looking for people who want to flourish along with us — helping to pave the way to a brighter future.
