About The Role

Position Summary: The Kids Campus Lead provides administrative and logistical support to their campus, ensuring the overall effectiveness and efficiency of daily operations. This person is responsible for leading, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of the children’s ministry at their campus. The Kids Campus Lead recruits, trains, and supports volunteers, implements and manages curriculum, and collaborates with the Athey Kids Director to align the kids ministry with the church’s mission and vision.

Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Agree to ACC’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
  • Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
  • Excellent written, verbal, grammar, and editing skills
  • 5+ years of experience as an office assistant or in an administrative support role
  • Proficient in Mac-based systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Drive
  • Self-directed with the ability to lead others and manage projects
  • Experience in building, leading, and maintaining healthy teams
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Experience in problem-solving and project management
  • Schedule and task-focused with comfort using tracking software and to-do lists
  • Quick learner, self-starter, hardworking, adaptable, and appropriately assertive

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Engage as part of a team with Athey Creek staff, always being edi­fy­ing to one another
  • Attend week­ly sync meet­ings at the Hill­side campus
  • Over­see pro­gram­ming, class prepa­ra­tion, and man­age­ment for the Kids Ministry
  • Col­lab­o­rat­ing with the Cam­pus Pas­tor on min­istry cul­ture and vol­un­teer care
  • Assign and over­see work done by the Kids Min­istry Assis­tants at the assigned campus
  • Sched­ule and man­age hours of the Kids Min­istry Assis­tants at the assigned campus
  • Meet with and coach Kids Min­istry Assis­tants regard­ing their dai­ly work
  • Lead cam­pus-relat­ed com­mu­ni­ca­tions to volunteers
  • Recruit, train, and lead vol­un­teers for the Kids Ministry
  • Build rela­tion­ships with kids, vol­un­teers, and families
  • Assist with bud­get track­ing, expense report­ing, and reimbursements
  • Com­mu­ni­cate week­ly with Cen­tral teams to align on updates, needs, and events
  • Man­age vol­un­teer safe­ty and secu­ri­ty com­pli­ance, as well as trainings
  • Cre­ate and com­mu­ni­cate the vol­un­teer sched­ule and week­ly curriculum
  • Act as the main point of con­tact for par­ents regard­ing ques­tions, con­cerns, or behav­ioral issues
  • Assist in the class­room as needed
  • Help pre­pare the facil­i­ty for upcom­ing ser­vices and events through­out the week, ensur­ing qual­i­ty stan­dards are met
  • All oth­er duties as assigned
