Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! The Steakhouse is currently accepting applications for Food Server. Responsibilities will include; performing table maintenance, completing side work, maintaining health code standards, and providing excellent customer service for our guests according to Atlantis' and Forbes standards.

Job Responsibilities**

Greet guests warmly and present menus with expert knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including daily specials, ingredients, and wine pairings.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, using a POS system, and communicate them effectively to kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to fine dining service standards (e.g., proper table setting, crumbing, plate presentation).
Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation and dining area.
Process guest payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
Collaborate effectively with culinary and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Resolve guest complaints or concerns professionally and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.

Job Qualifications**

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Food Server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment, preferably a steakhouse.
Extensive knowledge of food and wine, including different cuts of meat, cooking temperatures, and classic wine pairings.
Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to provide a memorable guest experience.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Proficiency with POS systems.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
