About The Role

As an ASIC Analog Design Engineer (m/f/d), you will act as a technical authority for analog and mixed-signal high-voltage IC development. This role goes beyond block ownership and requires technical leadership across architecture, requirements breakdown, methodology, risk mitigation, and chip-level integration. You will make high-impact decisions for safety-critical automotive ASICs, guide complex trade-offs across disciplines, mentor engineers, and ensure critical know-how is applied consistently across projects. Your contribution directly influences product quality, execution, innovation, and the long-term competitiveness of the analog design organization.

Your Tasks

  • Acting as key technical authority for analog and mixed-signal ASIC development, guiding complex high-voltage automotive products from concept to qualification
  • Owning chip-level architecture and design trade-offs across performance, robustness, safety, EMC/ESD, testability, cost, schedule, and manufacturability
  • Leading complex analog block definition and implementation in BCD technologies, including SMPSs, LDOs, gate drivers, charge pumps, sensor interfaces, and protections
  • Translating system and customer requirements into robust chip- and block-level specifications, identifying risks and verification needs early
  • Representing analog design in technical negotiations with internal customers, architecture, project management, verification, digital, layout, test, technology, and quality teams
  • Driving analog-on-top and chip-level integration, ensuring consistency across schematics, verification, layout, constraints, and validation strategy
  • Reviewing and approving critical design concepts, simulation strategies, robustness analyses, layout implementation, validation plans, and issue resolutions
  • Improving analog design methodologies, reusable approaches, best practices, checklists, and knowledge assets across projects
  • Mentoring engineers, transfer knowledge, raise design maturity, and strengthen long-term analog design capability
  • Contributing to strategic technical decisions, project recovery, roadmaps, hiring, and competency development for analog design
  • Academic degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics or comparable qualification
  • Expert level of experience in analog/mixed-signal high-voltage, high-power ASIC design in the automotive domain
  • Longterm Experience with analog-on-top simulation environments and mixed-signal verification
  • Strong Knowledge of BCD technologies
  • Knowledge of functional safety and reliability engineering
  • Proven track record of tape-outs and successful silicon validation
  • Exposure to EMC/ESD design and robustness testing
  • Strong understanding of analog circuit theory, and physical layout considerations
  • Familiarity with automotive-grade design constraints and qualification processes
  • Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
