Summary of the Role

  • Lead the Diabetes Management (DM) portfolio within Life Care Solution (LCS), with accountability for portfolio strategy, product positioning, pricing, lifecycle management, demand planning, and commercial performance.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans for diabetes products and solutions across priority channels, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, distributors, and other relevant customer segments.
  • Translate patient, healthcare professional, channel, and market insights into differentiated value propositions, growth initiatives, and effective go-to-market programs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Medical/Clinical, Finance, Service, Regional, and Headquarters teams to ensure compliant and effective execution.
  • Manage business performance through sales, market share, margin, forecast accuracy, inventory health, campaign effectiveness, and new-product-launch readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio strategy: Develop the DM portfolio strategy, segmentation, positioning, value proposition, pricing architecture, and lifecycle roadmap in alignment with LCS and MCS business priorities.
  • Market intelligence: Monitor diabetes-care trends, patient pathways, customer needs, reimbursement and channel dynamics, competitor activity, pricing, and emerging technologies; convert insights into clear business actions.
  • Marketing planning: Build and execute annual brand and marketing plans, channel programs, campaigns, educational initiatives, and customer engagement activities with defined objectives, budgets, and performance measures.
  • Commercial performance: Own revenue, market share, gross margin, marketing-spend effectiveness, and portfolio profitability; review performance regularly and implement corrective actions.
  • Forecasting and supply: Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning with Sales and Supply Chain; manage launch stocks, expiry risk, slow-moving inventory, and availability to support customer demand.
  • Product launches: Lead end-to-end launch readiness for new diabetes products and line extensions, including market assessment, business case, pricing, regulatory coordination, launch plan, training, and post-launch review.
  • Sales enablement: Equip Sales and channel partners with product knowledge, customer segmentation, selling tools, competitive messaging, objection handling, and field coaching to improve execution quality.
  • Customer and KOL engagement: Build productive relationships with healthcare professionals, diabetes educators, laboratory and pharmacy stakeholders, key accounts, distributors, and relevant professional organizations.
  • Channel development: Develop tailored strategies for hospital, clinic, pharmacy, distributor, and other relevant channels, including account prioritization, activation plans, and partner performance management.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Act as the bridge among Headquarters, Regional, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Medical/Clinical, Finance, Service, and external partners, translating business needs into coordinated action.
  • Compliance and quality: Ensure all marketing materials, claims, events, sponsorships, and customer activities comply with applicable laws, company policies, quality requirements, and approval processes.
  • Business reporting: Prepare accurate forecasts, market updates, launch dashboards, campaign reviews, and management presentations; communicate risks, opportunities, and recommended actions clearly.
  • Continuous improvement: Apply structured thinking and data analysis to improve portfolio processes, customer experience, forecast quality, marketing productivity, and commercial execution.

Functional / Technical Skills

  • Strong capability in market analysis, segmentation, positioning, pricing, forecasting, budget management, portfolio planning, and launch execution.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales, margin, market, inventory, and campaign data and translate findings into actions.
  • Effective project leadership and cross-functional collaboration across local, regional, and headquarters teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills in Thai and English.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, structured thinking, customer focus, and a consistent drive for results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business reporting tools.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science, medical technology, pharmacy, nursing, biomedical engineering, business, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • A master's degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in product management, marketing, or commercial roles within medical devices, diagnostics, diabetes care, pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, or related healthcare sectors.
  • Strongly prefer to have experience in diabetes management, blood glucose monitoring, point-of-care testing, diagnostics, or pharmacy/OTC channels.
