About The Role

  • Join Our Green Lake County Birth-3 Team!
  • Contracted Speech Language Pathologist: limited hours, Wednesdays, approximately 6-8 hours per week .

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Provide hands-on Birth to 3 services within natural environments.
  • Coach families and caregivers to support development through everyday routines.
  • Recommend adaptive strategies, tools, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with team members to support child and family goals.
  • Participate in IFSP meetings, updates, and progress reviews.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and positivity to create a nurturing and encouraging environment.
  • Maintain excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Keep thorough and accurate documentation.
  • Produce discharge reports prior to age-out or at the time of discharge to support transitions.
  • Attend team meetings and communicate with the program coordinator as required.
  • Independently bill private insurance and Medical Assistance (MA).Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy laws and requirements.
  • Demonstrate practices consistent with State of Wisconsin DHS 90 guidelines, based on state and federal legislation and best practice recommendations.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain professional licensure as required.

Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Provide speech therapy services to children from birth to three in home and community settings.
  • Conduct developmental evaluations for infants and toddlers.
  • Identify delays in total communication, including expressive and receptive language.
  • Assess feeding skills and overall functional development.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a master’s degree in Speech ‑ Language Pathology.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Speech ‑ Language Pathologist. Seeking a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services on Wednesdays for approximately 6–8 hours per week.
