Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level UEFI BIOS Firmware Engineer to join our firmware development team. In this role, you will participate in the development, debugging, and maintenance of UEFI BIOS firmware. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop new features, resolve technical issues, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality firmware solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, debugging, and maintenance of UEFI BIOS firmware.
  • Assist in implementing new BIOS features and enhancing existing firmware functionality.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve firmware issues during development and validation.
  • Provide technical support to internal team member and customer.
  • Support internal teams and customers in troubleshooting firmware-related issues.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance firmware quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of C, C++, and Assembly programming.
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture and embedded systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with x86 architecture and UEFI BIOS concepts.
  • Knowledge of EDK II, Driver Interfaces, Library Classes, and UEFI Protocols.
  • Experience with Robot Framework, Cmocka, or other testing frameworks is a plus.
