Business Valuation, Forensics & Transaction Advisory Intern - Summer or Fall 2027

About The Role
The Intern supports the Consulting team in general operations, data analysis and modeling related to RKL’s clients’ more challenging financial management needs. The Intern is paired with a Consultant matching their skills and expertise, however will be participating in consulting engagements of various focus areas and industries.

- Assist with conducting financial analysis and market data research and providing recommendations to the client
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Financial Management Services team on a variety of functions
- Network with peers and team members at all levels
- Participate in team building exercises and community outreach activities
- Participate in continuous learning and leadership development workshops
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for efficiencies

Education, Experience and Certifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Desire to pursue the CPA designation and a career in professional services/public accounting
- Excellent communication and analytical skills required
- Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as an adding machine, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external team members/vendors as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to other office locations as needed, overnight travel may be required
