About The Role

On behalf of our client, a global - leading company in the packaging industry, we are looking to recruit an Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Manages the Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and supplier payments
Processes and executes supplier payments
Performs bank account and supplier account reconciliations
Record purchase, service, and other invoices
Books accruals and prepaid expenses
Participates in monthly closing activities
Performs General Ledger (G/L) postings
Creates Investment Orders and Fixed Asset postings
Runs and reviews depreciation calculationss
Prepares and submits ELSTAT and Intrastat reportss
Ensures compliance with MyData requirements
Liaises with external auditors during annual statutory audits
Prepares and maintain SOX Control documentation
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Master’s degree in a related field will be considered as a plus
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Strong knowledge of Greek accounting and tax regulations
Good understanding of MyData requirements
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
