Data Analyst - Jr.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting various
• data sets to provide meaningful feedback for staff. This role involves significant data
• acquisition and management, statistical data analysis and report generation. Additionally
• responsibilities include certain producer appointments and support activities. The
• candidate will also be required to respond to ad hoc requests from staff.

Responsibilities

• . Monitor various exposure and claim data sets and work with Arch business units
• and support teams to improve data quality and avoid financial penalties, were
• possible.
• . Compile data, create reports from various systems and send them to staff for review
• and submission.
• . Collect information from internal/external sources and distribute it to staff.
• . Perform data collection and analysis in support of ad-hoc and recurring requests
• by staff.
• . Submission of certain financial reports.
• . Make producer appointment filings.
• . Perform quarterly producer appointment reconciliations.
• . Assist with monthly producer management reports.

Required Skills/Experience

• . Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including macro generation.
• . Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• . Good written and oral communication skills.
• . Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• . Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• . Must be able to analyze large data sets.

Education

• . Bachelor's Degree in informational system or data science preferred.
• . 2-5 working experience in Insurance/Finance field.
