The Role - Primary Booking and KPI Diagnostic Specialist
What you'll be responsible for
Primary Transport Operations
- Review of scheduled weekly loading for primary transfer both for Land and Sea
- Efficient allocation of Primary transfer booking based that is geared towards better service and optimal cost.
- Monitors daily shipment of primary transfer from booking, allocation, arrival, loading, in transit updates and delivery to the depots.
- Measures and reports critical KPIs such as Primary Transfer Reliability, Allocation compliance, Loadfill, and others that may be assigned from time to time.
- Coordinate with haulers about operational concerns and other activities related to Primary transfers.
- Develop supplier capability on a daily basis thru continuous discussion related to service and efficiency.
- Conduct presentation and reporting of operational progress thru weekly and monthly meetings
KPI Diagnostics
- Generate KPI reports for transport and customer service such as call time compliance, delivery on time, load fill, DR and CCFOT
- Create KPI report for depot operations such as SK, returns, cold storage and truck temperatures, and invoice liquidation
- Monitoring and coordination with depots for closing of open orders and deliveries
Quality
- Ensure truck refrigeration system are compliant to the set standard by QA team.
- Ensure compliance to CPAR as needed by Quality team.
- Ensure delivery personnel are complying to the proper hygiene before and during delivery.
- Conduct training of Selecta Delivery Procedures with focus on quality and service.
- Liaise with warehouse to investigate and check gap related to quality of primary transfers.
Safety
- Ensure compliance of Land Transfer Haulers to Transport Safety Program
- Ensure that service providers and their respective crews are knowledgeable on the journey management plan, route risk assessment, and vehicle safety.
- Ensure 3rd party haulers have undergone defensive driving training (yearly).
- Promote safety culture with 3rd party suppliers for transport thru SBO and other platforms concerning primary transfers.
- In cases of accident for Primary Transfers, conducts reporting, escalation, and investigation of the matter. Works with 3PL in generating lessons learned together with ULP Safety.
- Ensure 3PL haulers have complied with mandatory safety requirements before deployment to uric. This includes, Dashcam, GPS, and other mandatory safety requirements.
Digitization Support
- Ensures monitoring of digital KPI Diagnostic solution for Transport.
- Ensures proper implementation of systems related to overall transportation efficiency of Primary Transfer.
Budget and Cost
- Provide local budget assumptions for primary transport using the most realistic volume and parameters.
- Assist transport manager in budget allocation, targets for the year, and other primary transfer related task.
- Ensure compliance to budget assumption during the execution of transportation procedure.
- Provide gap analysis regarding the gap on the budget of primary transfer.
- Weekly monitoring and governance on cost vs budget with Deployment Planner to resolve gaps.
Analytics
- Implementation and monitoring of Transport/Trucker performance monitoring system on a daily basis for the areas covered. This includes KPIs on Service, Cost, Quality, and Safety.
- Conducts root cause analysis for primary transportation losses/gaps in the operations KPIs.
- Provide analysis and assessment of current transport set-up in the area and generate areas of improvement of sustainable transport.
Audit
- Schedule transport audit for land and sea transfer to include activities that will help improve service lead time.
- Conducts truck audit in compliance to Unilever quality and safety standard
Projects
- Assist in the smooth landing of projects related to transport primary transfer operations that will generate efficiency and cost savings
- Develop haulers that will support the implementation of network projects thru deployment of trucks
- Assists in the development of an efficient process for end to end capability that supports quality, cost, and service.
We're looking for someone who
- At least 3 years experience in logistics with focus on handling shipping and hauling.
- Preferably Industrial Engineer with interest in Cold Chain Transport or with background on Logistics
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Background in operations is plus
