The Waiter is responsible for providing friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction and service

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Present menus and provide information about food and beverage options.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages according to the required service standards.
  • Ensure tables are properly set up before, during, and after service.
  • Check guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas.
  • Communicate guest requests, dietary requirements, and allergies to the kitchen and relevant team members
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and report any issues to the supervisor or manager.
  • Prepare and present guest bills accurately and follow payment procedures.
  • Maintain proper knowledge of menus, promotions, and daily specials.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and health and safety standards.
  • Upsell food and beverage items where appropriate.
  • Attend departmental briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
