Avani+ is an uplifted extension of the Avani brand with Avani+ Fares being one of few within the brand and is the first such branded resort in the Maldives The resort will have 200 keys and multiple F&B outlets as well as Spa, Recreation Diving and Water Sports Facilities Avani teams pride themselves as Open-minded, Upbeat and Genuine. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the smooth and efficient operation of the Reservations Department.
• Handle reservation inquiries, bookings, amendments, and cancellations promptly and accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, rates, packages, promotions, and resort facilities.
• Maximize revenue through effective upselling and achievement of monthly targets.
• Ensure all reservations are processed accurately in Opera Reservation System (ORS) and PMS.
• Follow all SOPs, hotel policies, and reservation procedures.
• Monitor VIP reservations and ensure guest requests are properly handled.
• Conduct quality checks and follow up on pending reservations, traces, cancellations, and no-shows.
• Maintain excellent guest service and promptly address reservation-related concerns.
• Coordinate effectively with Sales, Front Office, Central Reservations, IT, and other departments.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitors, seasonality, and booking patterns.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 –2 years of experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel environment.
• Good knowledge of Opera PMS/ORS or other hotel reservation systems.
• Strong understanding of room types, rates, packages, promotions, and booking procedures.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Good knowledge of Maldives resort operations, tourism market, and seasonality is an advantage.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reservations accurately.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
