Elevate your career by taking on a pivotal role as Operations Manager at EF Singapore International Language School. We’re looking for an approachable, highly organised and results-driven Operations Manager to support the growth and smooth running of our international language campus. Year-round, you’ll support general school operations and the student experience for our diverse international community of students aged 16+ , while working closely with multiple global sales markets and towards ambitious targets. During our busy peak seasons, you’ll take a leading role in the planning and delivery of operations for groups of under-18 students , ensuring their programmes run safely, smoothly and successfully from arrival through to departure. Your Role As Operations Manager , you will play a key role in the year-round operation of EF Singapore , with particular ownership of the planning and delivery of our winter and summer peak-season groups. Student satisfaction will be at the heart of everything you do. You’ll work closely with our international sales offices to fill groups, grow student numbers and increase overall student weeks , while ensuring that what we promise is delivered to a consistently high standard on the ground. You will take ownership of the complete group student journey from arrival to departure , including: Accommodation and rooming plans Airport arrivals, departures and transport Meals and catering Activities, excursions and student schedules Recruitment, preparation and training of Group Leaders Safeguarding and operational requirements for U18 groups Communication and coordination with sales offices, suppliers and internal teams Monitoring student feedback and satisfaction and taking action where improvements are needed Ensuring expectations are clearly communicated, understood and consistently met Year-round , you’ll also support the wider operations of our international language campus and our students aged 16+, working across departments to ensure the school runs smoothly, operational standards remain high and students receive an excellent experience throughout their time with us. This is a hands-on role — you’ll be expected to plan, coordinate and lead, but also to step in and support operational delivery whenever needed. Responsibilities Take full ownership over the group bookings operations including, but not limited to Oversee and manage day-to-day business regarding group bookings at pre-departure, in-school and post-departure Outsourcing and directly managing all service providers (meals, activities, accommodation, transport, cleaning) to ensure all required services are provided in accordance with EF and local standards and to ultimately ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction Liaising directly with the Capacity Management & Director of Studies to ensure maximum utilization of committed beds, classroom usage, timetables for classes and the teachers needed Recruiting, training and leading a group of Local Activity leaders, Tour Guides, summer Residence Advisors and summer interns to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction Working as part of the wider school team to ensure overall student satisfaction and growth of the school Ensure the department complies with EF policy and accreditation requirements Ensure to reach evaluation targets for all services offered to group bookings Share emergency on call duties with other school staff During off-peak times to assist with school wide operations as needed.
