About The Role

Talentspoc is seeking a highly qualified Specialist Rheumatologist for an immediate opening in the UAE.

The successful candidate will provide expert care for patients with a range of rheumatological and autoimmune conditions , delivering evidence-based and compassionate treatment in a multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed clinical assessments and diagnose rheumatologic disorders including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, spondyloarthritis, and other inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
  • Manage long-term treatment plans and monitor therapeutic responses including immunosuppressive and biologic therapies.
  • Interpret and utilize laboratory and imaging investigations relevant to rheumatology.
  • Provide appropriate joint injections and other interventional procedures within competency.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedics, physiotherapy, immunology, and nephrology.
  • Educate patients on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualifications in Rheumatology or a related specialty.
  • Minimum relevant clinical experience in Rheumatology.
  • Strong knowledge of autoimmune and inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of rheumatic diseases.
  • Experience with immunosuppressive and biologic treatment protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid license to practice medicine in the UAE is preferred.
