General Summary

Orum Therapeutics is seeking an experienced CFO to lead our growing global finance and accounting team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Orum’s accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, treasury functions, risk management, stock plan administration, tax. Additionally, this role will be responsible for partnering with executive leadership to communicate Orum’s financial performance, strategy, and vision to external stakeholders.

Beyond core finance responsibilities, the CFO plays a broader operational leadership role across the company's G&A functions — including Investor Relations(IR), Human Resources(HR), and Legal — aligning closely with each function's leadership to keep financial, communications, legal, and organizational priorities moving in the same direction.

The ideal candidate brings extensive global and public company experience, a strong preference for KOSDAQ experience , and a track record of operating as a broad organizational partner — not solely a finance function head.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning & Treasury Management

• Develop mid- to long-term financial strategies and roadmaps aligned with biotech-specific industry dynamics and the business model
• Set up and execute proactive fundraising strategies based on cash runway scenario analysis
• Guide FP&A to support the company’s operations (including, but not limited to, R&D pipeline, HR operations, etc.) through efficient allocation of financial resources
• Provide financial insight on cross-functional resource allocation across R&D pipeline programs
• Oversee corporate treasury operations and establish disbursement guidelines
• Manage liquidity risk

Financial Reporting, Accounting & Compliance

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting packages
• Oversee the company’s accounting operations, policies and procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure full compliance with KOSDAQ rules and relevant global regulatory requirements
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Provide guidance to Accounting team on researching and resolving complex technical accounting issues
• Manage stock plan administration and the cap table
• Ensure compliance with the company’s investment policies
• Coordinate corporate tax provisions, reporting, and tax return preparation with outside accountants

Investor Communications & Disclosure

• Oversee investor communications and disclosure activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with finance-related information in all investor-facing materials, external financial communications, and public release
• Partner with executive leadership and relevant internal teams to guide external financial messages

Cross-Functional Strategic Alignment

• Serve as a central point of coordination across Finance, IR HR, Legal, and other General and Administrative (G&A) functions — surfacing cross-functional risks and dependencies to executive leadership
• Partner with IR to align disclosure strategy with corporate messaging and governance standards
• Partner with HR to ensure compensation, headcount planning, and organizational design decisions are grounded in sound financial reasoning
• Partner with Legal to ensure corporate governance, contracts, and compliance matters are financially sound and risk-aware

Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, including leadership positions
• Strong working knowledge of KOSDAQ compliance and reporting requirements
• Exceptional communication skills in both English and Korean, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for varied audiences
• Collaborative leadership style with strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
• Proactive, growth-oriented mindset — brings strategic recommendations forward without being prompted; comfortable challenging assumptions at the leadership level
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
• Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies is essential
• Demonstrated experience coordinating across multiple G&A functions (e.g., IR, HR, Legal) in a matrixed or dotted-line structure

재무 전략 및 자금 관리

• 바이오텍 산업의 특성과 회사의 비즈니스 모델을 고려한 중장기 재무 전략 및 로드맵 수립
• Cash Runway 및 자금 소요 시나리오 분석을 기반으로 선제적인 자금조달 전략 수립 및 실행
• FP&A를 통해 R&D 파이프라인 , 인력 운영 등 회사의 주요 사업 및 운영에 필요한 재원의 효율적인 배분 및 의사결정 지원
• R&D 파이프라인 프로그램 전반의 자원배분에 대해 재무 인사이트를 제공하며 , R&D· 임상 리더십과 협업하여 프로그램별 가치 리스크 · 전략적 적합성을 평가
• 회사의 자금 및 Treasury 운영을 총괄하고 자금 집행 기준 및 관리 체계 수립
• 유동성 및 재무 리스크 관리

재무 보고 , 회계 및 컴플라이언스

• 정확하고 적시에 작성되는 재무제표 및 경영진 보고자료 총괄

절차 및 내부통제 총괄

• KOSDAQ 규정 및 관련 글로벌 규제 요건에 따른 재무

세무자문과의 협업 총괄

투자자 커뮤니케이션 및 공시

• 회사의 전략 , 거버넌스 기준 및 규제 요건에 부합하도록 투자자 커뮤니케이션 및 공시 업무 총괄
• 투자자 대상 자료 , 대외 재무 커뮤니케이션 및 공시 자료의 정확성

일관성 · 규정 준수 확보

• 경영진 및 유관 조직과 협업하여 회사의 대외 재무 메시지 및 커뮤니케이션 방향 수립

G&A 기능 간 전략적 협업 및 조율

• Finance, IR, HR, Legal 등 주요 부서와의 주요 과제를 조율하고 , 기능 간 연계가 필요한 사항과 주요 리스크를 파악하여 경영진에 공유
• IR과 협업하여 재무 공시 전략과 회사의 대외 커뮤니케이션 방향을 일관되게 수립
• HR과 협업하여 보상 , 인력계획 및 조직설계에 대한 재무적 타당성을 검토하고 사업 전략에 부합하는 방향을 수립
• Legal과 협업하여 기업지배구조 , 주요 계약 및 컴플라이언스 관련 사안의 재무적 영향과 리스크를 검토

자격요건

• 재무 , 회계, 경영 등 관련 분야 학사 이상 학위
• 15년 이상 재무 및 회계 관련 경력 및 리더십 경험
• KOSDAQ 회계 공시 규제에 대한 이해 및 실무 경험
• 복잡한 재무정보를 명확하고 설득력 있게 전달할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 능력
• 협업 지향적, 높은 윤리의식 , 정확성 , 책임감을 갖춘 조직 리더십
• 우수한 조직관리 · 시간관리 · 의사결정 역량
