 JOB SUMMARY
- The Systems Administrator will provide IT operational support to offices in India, covering ICT infrastructure, endpoint deployment and management, documentation, project coordination, and vendor management to ensure efficient and reliable IT services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain and optimize all IT assets, including hardware and software, while managing asset inventories and overseeing the complete asset lifecycle.
- Triage, resolve or escalate any helpdesk or service requests raised by end-users and follow-up to ensure a satisfied resolution is provided
- Configure, operate, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, WAN and LAN equipment, physical and virtual servers, backup systems, and UPS devices, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Maintain and monitor WAN and VPN connectivity across DP office locations to ensure stable, secure, and reliable network communications.
- Manage and support IT-related facilities, including CCTV, PABX, and Door Access Control Systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and operational effectiveness.
- Maintain and implement IT documentation and policies to ensure standardization, compliance, and effective IT governance across the organization
- Collaborate with overseas IT teams across the organization to develop operational familiarity, align support practices, and ensure effective coordination of IT services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration, IT Operation or Infrastructure support
SKILL SET REQUIREMENT
- Able to communicate in English (verbal and writing)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Windows Server environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and relevant networking / server technologies / Virtualization
- Administrative knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
- Able to work autonomously and collaborate within a team environment
