HAPO is excited to share we have a new opportunity available for a dependable and service-focused Financial Center Manager in Yakima, WA . This role has the overall responsibility for financial center personnel, achieving monthly goals, ensuring operational guidelines and policies are followed, and the financial center is maintained properly. May have consumer lending responsibilities or be responsible for managing and assisting the consumer loan function. Must also support and be involved in respective community activities and events. Must be an active coach and mentor for their employees.

Duties include, but are not limited to

  • Ability to support branch and efficiently work as a Teller or Financial Service Specialist (Loan Officer)
  • Monitors branch budget and assure timely payment of expenses
  • Participates in promotions and marketing efforts to assure growth in members, accounts, deposits, and loans to meet strategic plan targets
  • Ability to research teller errors
  • Ability to open and maintenance IRA accounts
  • Ability to open and maintenance Trust & Estate accounts, and assist with Death Claims
  • Ability to open and maintenance all Commercial Accounts
  • Full understating of branch audits
  • Conduct and write employee one on ones, reviews and corrective action(s)
  • Signature Guarantee
  • Attend and manage community outreach events
  • Resolve complex member complaints
  • Ability to identify staff for in branch cross-training
  • Ensure staff is current on all required regulatory training
  • Financial Counseling Certification
  • Ability to exercise judgment, initiative, and always uphold confidentiality.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle oneself in stressful situations.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver’s license
  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or closely related field or equivalent work experience

Location

  • Yakima, WA
  • Schedule: Must be able to work 35-40 hours a week (Mon-Fri) between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday rotation required (9am-1pm)
  • Salary Range: $70,796.96 - $106,195.65
  • *Typically, Selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint range, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
