About The Role
Quorum's Controller is directly responsible for overseeing the company's accounting, financial reporting, planning, treasury, and control functions while providing the financial insight and guidance needed to support continued growth. By ensuring financial discipline, IFRS-compliant reporting, effective risk management, and meaningful analysis for leaders across the business, this role helps drive informed decisions that support Quorum's strategic objectives and long-term success.
Requirements
Working Capital & Treasury Management
- Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and short- and long-term cash flow forecasting
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and treasury operations
- Optimize working capital across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet items
- Ensure effective controls and visibility over cash and funding positions
Tax Management
- Lead corporate tax compliance and planning activities
- Oversee SR&ED claims and related documentation and filings
- Identify and implement tax planning opportunities in compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Provide timely, accurate financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Partner with business leaders to assess performance, investments, and key initiatives
- Monitor financial risks and variances, providing clear recommendations to management
Strategic Projects & Integration
- Lead and support ad hoc strategic projects, including M&A activities and acquisition integration
- Partner cross-functionally on due diligence, financial analysis, process alignment, and integration planning
Financial Reporting
- Ensure the timely preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Deliver management reporting and consolidation reporting, and support the portfolio roll-up reporting cycle
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other applicable standards
- Manage the external audit process and related deliverables
- Continuously improve reporting processes, systems, and data quality
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Establish clear objectives, performance expectations, and accountability
- Build scalable financial processes to support business growth
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accuracy, and continuous improvement
