The Opportunity
Build the Future With Us
Join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team for an 8-month co-op term from January to August . This opportunity will give you the chance to gain hands-on experience working on community infrastructure and land development projects while learning from experienced engineers and technical professionals.
As a Civil Engineering Co-op Student , you'll support a variety of projects and develop practical skills in design, project delivery, field work, and consulting.
Your Impact
- Support the planning and design of land development and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Assist with grading, site servicing, stormwater management, and transportation-related assignments.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in site visits, field reviews, and construction-related activities.
- Collect and analyze project data to support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers on project delivery.
- Contribute to projects that support the growth and development of communities.
- Develop your technical and professional skills through mentorship and practical experience.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
- Available for an 8-month co-op placement from January through August .
- Interest in municipal engineering, land development, and community infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, or related engineering software is considered an asset.
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 - $32.25/hour
- MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25/hour
- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $21.50 - $30.25/hour
