About The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance to deliver efficient and reliable IT support services. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust IT systems, overseeing network security, and optimizing performance to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Lead and manage the IT infrastructure and support team, providing technical expertise and guidance.
Design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems, including servers, networks, and security measures.
Oversee network security and implement best practices to protect against cyber threats.
Optimize IT infrastructure performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored support.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and upgrades.
Document and maintain accurate records of IT infrastructure and support processes.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong technical expertise in networking, server administration, and cybersecurity.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of resolving complex issues.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing and mentoring a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or MCSE are highly preferred.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles is desirable.
