Manager, Pricing & Tender

About The Role
Lead the tender strategy to ensure the success of long-term business development while staying current with the latest government pricing, tender, reimbursement polices.
How you’ll make an impact
- Plan bidding activities with the accountability for successful completion within scope of project deliverables:
- Communicate with the bidding office of BHFP before bidding for provincial and sub-provincial cities, creating a favorable bidding policy environment for EW’s products
- Manage bidding budget and deadline
- Provide input and lead the implementation of the bidding strategy
- Assess, analyze, and lead the execution of pricing and product portfolio strategy for the EW’s business growth in partnership with stakeholders (e.g., Channel, Sales and Marketing team) utilizing knowledge of the provincial and city level reimbursement policy
- Lead the implementation of appropriate pricing strategy for provincial and city level to support internal teams (e.g. Channel and Sales team members)
- Identify and evaluate process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities while determining objectives and approaches for the tendering management system
- Continuously establish relationships and influence policies with relevant government departments
- Other incidental duties
What you'll need (Required)
Bachelor's Degree in in related field, 8 years years experience Experience in policy development, action plans, and tender processes Required
What else we look for (Preferred)
- Proven experience in contact network, involvement and success in influencing the development of legislation
- Proven successful project management skills
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and relevant systems
- Ability to read, write and speak English required
- Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Ability to represent leadership on sections of projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and Bidding team
- Ability to consult in a project setting within specific sections of Bidding area
- Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
- Extensive knowledge of the tender processes
- Extensive understanding of related aspects of bidding processes and/or systems
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
