About the Apprenticeship Programme

Pearson India’s Apprenticeship Programme offers opportunities for graduates and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience while learning from industry experts. Our apprenticeships provide structured learning in disciplines through a combination of real-world experience and structured mentorship, apprentices develop the professional and technical skills needed to succeed in a global organization.

About the Role

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, social media).
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities and performance metrics using CRM software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer service, training and product teams to align sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Customer Support: Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collections: work with the customer service team to map customers and follow up on payments pre sales and post sales.

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have completed a [Bachelor’s / Master’s] degree, preferably from Business or Management background (Psychology degree would be a added advantage)
  • Recent graduates or those with less than 1 year of work experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in India.

Work Schedule
