Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Coordinator to join our Home Health team. The Data Entry Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and services provided. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process patient admission into our agencys EMR system for home health services.

  • Coordinate care by assigning case manager and clinician to ensure 48 hour admission.

  • Follow up on inquiries related to the patient admission and staff availability.

  • Assist in establishing the initial Plan of Care and plotting of tasks to staff schedule.

  • Data Entry – Use EMR (Kinnser), Secure messages application, Gmail, google, doc, office (Adobe and Excel).

  • Provide outstanding customer service.

  • Schedule/reschedule appointments and manage 15+ calendars.

  • Assist nursing, therapists and administrative team as needed.

  • Other duties of a similar nature or level.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in data entry or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical terminology

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

  • Willing to start ASAP

  • Willing to work full-time night shift

  • Looking for a long-term position
