Accounting Assistant

JOB BRIEF

• Provides financial and clerical support by ensuring accurate reporting of accounting data
• Assists Supervisor and/or Manager in coordination with stakeholders

REPONSIBILITIES

• Perform audit of daily transactions in accordance with the established standard audit procedures, and provide status timely 
• Analyze and submit adjusting entries to correct records based on audited amounts and proper accounts
• Communicate queries to the concerned department/s and proactively follow up and close pending issues encountered
• Submit report to Supervisor and/or Manager any inconsistency noted in the workflow process
• Collaborate with other departments particularly on the provisioning of audit documents as required and requested by other departments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors’ degree in Accountancy or any business related course
• Work experience is an advantage
• Willing to work onsite- SM Retail HQ, Pasay
