1.0 JOB SUMMARY
Assisting the Finance department in accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking
2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to a high quality standard that meets the company and customer requirement
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Assisting with accounts receivable
- Assisting with payroll functions
- Assisting with banking and reconciliation
- Administration tasks
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by management to perform your role
3.0 COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- College graduate
- 3 Years of experience in similar role. Accounting experience. Accounts payable and/or payroll experience.
- Competent in Microsoft computer packages, primarily Excel
- Ability to work within a small team and use initiative
- Previous experience with NAV preferred but not essential
- Possess accounting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good level of computer literacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Positive “can do” attitude
- Have good time management skills
4.0 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Work within the safety-first environment / culture with other members of your team and encourage safe behaviour
- All incidents and near misses must be reported to management / safety as soon as practically possible
- Be familiar with, and adhere to Callidus safety policies/procedures and bulletins.
- Attend safety meetings
- Promptly close out any actions assigned
- Participate in fire drills
