Your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities, from conducting comprehensive physical and chemical analyses to ensuring the integrity and reliability of our testing processes. Leveraging your deep understanding of approved test methods, customer-specific procedures, and internationally recognized standards, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest levels of analytical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our laboratory, you will be the catalyst for transformative analytical capabilities. Leveraging your expertise, you will:

• Conduct Comprehensive Analyses: Dive deep into the heart of physical and chemical testing, mastering approved methods, customer-specific procedures, and internationally recognized standards such as AOAC, USP, BP, SMEWW, and Compendium.
• Ensure Analytical Integrity: Meticulously prepare essential reagents and solutions, meticulously maintaining records of data and test results in accordance with best laboratory practices and quality control protocols.
• Deliver Timely, Reliable Reporting: Your analytical prowess will shine through in the comprehensive reports you submit, which will undergo thorough review and approval by our Technical Services Head.
• Validate and Quantify: Elevate our analytical capabilities by performing method validations and computing measurement uncertainties, ensuring the credibility and reliability of our services.
• Operate and Maintain Equipment: Showcase your technical expertise as you skillfully operate and maintain the specialized equipment used in your analytical work, safeguarding optimal performance and longevity.
• Uphold Quality Standards: Become a champion of our established quality assurance and control programs, aligning with the requirements of our quality management system, PNS, ISO/IEC 17025, and other relevant regulations.
• Participate in Quality Initiatives: Embrace the opportunity to engage in proficiency testing, intra-laboratory evaluations, blind and parallel tests, and inter-laboratory comparison programs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Monitor Environmental Conditions: Ensure the integrity of our analytical processes by conducting regular environmental monitoring of key areas, such as the AAS room, Weighing room, and Refrigerator.
• Inventory Management: Maintain a meticulous inventory of glassware and equipment, proactively informing the Technical Services Head to ensure timely replenishment of stocks.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Chemistry 
• License: Registered Chemical Technician or Chemist 
• Experience: Previous laboratory experience is an advantage, but new graduates are encouraged.
