Job Description
This role will spearhead the product and process development through continuous research and experimentation within the policies and procedures set by the department and the company with the objective of meeting the demands of the market, to improve efficiency in the operations, to improve quality of products and to meet global competitiveness through the introduction of new technologies. The following are core functions:
- New Product/Process Development
- Sensory Evaluation
- Shelf Life Testing
- Thermal Process Set-up/Validations
- Nutrition Information for Label Development
- Packaging Development (cans, cups, jars, cartons)
- Experimentation/Design Set-up
- Equipment Testing/Validations,
- Sample Preparation for New Market Development
Qualifications:
- Willing to be based in Polomolok, South Cotabato
- BS Food Technology graduate
- With at least 5 years of related work experience preferrably from a food manufacturing industry
- Keen on details and results-focused
- Able to deliver on tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High standards of cleanliness; follows strict hygiene protocols
