Job Description:
- Ensures compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct microbiological testing on products, raw materials, and environmental samples following established protocols and guidelines.
- Revises and updates food safety and quality programs and procedures as needed.
- Documents corrective actions, follows up as necessary and conducts GMP and Sanitation audits.
- Performs physico-chemical analysis, microbiological analysis and sensory evaluation of raw materials and finished products, and as required for new product development.
- Performs inspection and evaluation of packaging materials.
- Contributes to product quality improvement by participating in manufacturing and collaborating with management.
- Reviews product specifications to understand goals, documents testing processes, identifies issues, and recommends corrective actions
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or related field
- At least 2 years full-time experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
- Has knowledge of basic Food Safety and HACCP implementation.
- Has experience in physico-chemical/microbiological laboratory testing
- Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Can effectively communicate in English (verbal & written)
- Can work with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office.
