About the role

Part-Time (10 hours per week)

Shift: 07:00 am – 09:00 am PHT (Monday – Friday 2 hours per day) 

  • Handle the end-to-end process of accounts payable, including the accurate and timely processing of 25-30 invoices per week.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.  
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) in compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements.  
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.   
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support all end-of-month closure activities
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.  
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies and procedures as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.  
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed, including assisting with audits and other financial projects.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferre
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an accountant.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.   
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
