About the role
- Use a variety of software programs for data extraction and production of weekly and monthly reports.
- Create and manage database reports and visualisations.
- Comparing, analysing and reporting on data quality and structure.
- Maintain database standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Creating automation for repeating database tasks.
- Sourcing information and creation of new data lists when required.
- To provide support and assistance to any member of the team as required.
- To undergo further training as required.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Provide other position-level duties as they arise.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years experience in data manipulation, data analytics and reporting.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in data/statistical analysis tools in particular Tableau/SQL/Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Excel is required.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn new skills and systems.
- Ability to work as part of a team for daily deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience working in an insurance or finance environment would be beneficial but not essential.
- Flexibility around working patterns is essential due to colleagues working in multiple time zones.
