Laboratory Technician

1.      
Prepares requisition of supplies for laboratory use and
follows-up the same for immediate release.

2.      
Inspects and acknowledges receipt of items requested
from the Stockroom or from the Purchaser.

3.      
Supervises the Laboratory Aides in the manner of
release and retrieval of materials borrowed by students to check for damages.

4.      
Prepares reagents by calculating the concentrations of
the chemicals needed and mixing the chemicals to obtain specific reagents for
Chemistry subjects; manages the proper storage of these chemicals and reagents.
