Job Description

Job Summary: 
1. Guarantee that only quality and safe products with the right specifications are produced and delivered to customers.
2. Maintain the compliance for cleaning and sanitation of the whole facility of BSFI – Tarlac.
3. Responsible in reviewing, updating, implementing and monitoring effectiveness of established policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the quality and safety of produced products.
4. Responsible in every audit and conform to all needed information and requirements
5. Familiarize with the different food safety policies and procedures, especially FSSC/Global Standards
6. Review laboratory procedures/ policies and analyze laboratory results

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. See to it that established standard parameters are followed consistently.
2. Train and assist QA Inspectors and Lab Analysts to carry out their functions and evaluate their performance.
3. Compile and update QA records.
4. Analyze QA data and make recommendations for improvement.
5. Provide confidence that food safety and quality requirements are fulfilled by developing policies, procedures and programs to ensure the safety and quality of products.
6. Establish through validation all acceptable standard parameters.
7. Review and implement the HACCP Program.
8. Assist, coordinate and enforce compliance to food safety and quality management system and programs.
9. Implement and enforce GMP Program in the plant.
10. Prepare the plant and the personnel for customer audits, internal audits, and other audits.
11.  Assist in the training programs for GMP, Sanitation and Pest Control, Food Safety and Quality, and HACCP Programs.
12. Analyze, test and evaluate new product lines and make sure of its quality and registration
13. Oversee laboratory operations and make sure to release valid and accurate lab results
14. Perform other related or reliever duties assigned by superior.

 

Education            :              Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience         :               With knowledge in GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Practices, FSSC is a plus
