Product Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute product development activities such as product development or reformulation, raw material replacement and/ or adjustment, process improvements, and other processes that are applicable. 
• Conduct sensory evaluation for delivered raw materials and other sensory evaluation activities that are essential in the assessment of developed products and/ or processes. 
• Evaluate new and alternative materials that are important in product developments and batch trial runs. 
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for needed raw or packaging material. e. Supervises and coordinates batch trial runs and standardization of process design for production, with Purchasing for needed raw / packaging materials, and Production for BTR schedule. 
• Perform shelf life study for new and/ or existing products for validation. Provides consolidated shelf life study. 
• Conduct thorough and intensive research on the technical information of raw materials for product development.
• Provide information necessary for label development. Provides sample products when necessary. 8. Review and update R&D documents. 
• Perform other duties as may be required by the immediate superior and/or the management.

Job Specifications:

• Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology / Chemistry/ Food Engineering
• At least five (5) years of experience in product development from conceptualization to product commercialization
