Overview of the job

As the Chemical Lab Manager, you will take ownership for all aspects of the chemical laboratory operations, including but not limited to: ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, analytical test methods accuracy, training and qualification of lab analysts, inspiring continuous improvement, and other activities to ensure the laboratory runs efficiently.

Your team

This role reports to the Site Quality Assurance (QA) Leader. You are responsible for managing the laboratory’s shift teams, with enough resources and capabilities to deliver the business need of end-to-end supply chains in Cabuyao plant.

How success looks like

• Zero to minimal release-on-time hits due to lab misses
• 100% availability of chemical and reagent through strong inventory management
• 100% compliance to Quality, Safety, Stewardship, and Data Integrity standards

Responsibilities of the role

• Ensure the executional excellence of daily directions set, in timely completion of corrective and preventive action plans, and other laboratory activities
• Uphold the quality fundamentals as related to laboratory
• Lead the team working in the laboratory and maintain an impactful organization

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements

• You are a LICENSED Chemist with education in BS Chemistry (REQUIRED)
• >2-year related work experience on leading laboratory operations
• You display strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• You have high integrity and passion to learn
• You have an experience in people management and manufacturing environment (preferred but not required)
