Quality Analyst – Process exists to ensure the quality and integrity of (1) incoming materials, (2) water, (3) simple syrup, and (4) final syrup being received by or treated/processed within the Plant for use in the manufacturing of Coca-Cola Products in accordance to the requirements and specifications set by the (a) Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, (b) Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (c) applicable International Standards, and (d) laws and regulations of the Philippines.

Responsibilities Would Include:

• Ensure the quality and integrity of (1) auxiliary materials, (2) processing aids, (3) packaging materials, and (4) ingredients being received by the Plant
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the water, simple syrup, and flavored syrup being treated/processed by the Plant
• Conduct chemical analysis of products and other support processes (water, waste water, bottlewasher, special line samples CIP, etc.)
• Ensure that process and equipment validation are carried out in accordance to the requirements of Quality and Food Safety when there are changes (i.e. new materials, new formulation, new equipment, new technology, etc.)
• Effectively maintain and manage the work area to ensure sustainability of operations and compliance to Integrated Management System
• Sustain Continuous Improvement and participate in the Internal Audits to review effectiveness and contribute to the development of the system in place
• Monitor Supplier Performance for Continuous Improvement
• Promote the BIG Culture and Company Strategies

Position Requirements:

• Graduate of BS in Chemistry and a licensed Chemist
• Preferably with experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control from the following: 
  • Food / Beverage Manufacturing Industry
  • Pharmaceutical Industry
  • ISO 17025 Accredited Laboratory 
• Preferably familiar to: 
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
  • Laboratory Management System
• Other requirements
  • Must have presentation skills and must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Must be able to demonstrate good laboratory techniques.
  • Must have efficient color-vision.
  • Must have exceptional personal hygiene; 
• Skills:
  • Highly analytical with strong problem solving and decision-making skills; attention 
  to detail and highly collaborative.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
