Summary:
As a Network Operations Specialist focusing on dark fibre IT, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our fibre optic networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity, performance, and reliability of our network services.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the performance of dark fibre networks, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including but not limited to connectivity problems, latency, and service outages.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of network performance and security.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients regarding dark fibre services.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to fibre optics and network operations.
Assist in the development and implementation of network policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in network operations, with a focus on fibre optic networks.
