Associate QA Engineer

Your main responsibilities

Create and maintain test plans cases scenarios/scripts in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies and with a strong quality focus.
Quickly adapt and learn the product and domain
Execute test cases on both projects and release/regression campaigns.
Develop expertise on running all scenarios supported by the product be it on a browser based simulation device emulators or real devices such as kiosks.
Good analysis and trouble shooting skills of existing product tests and results.
Clear reporting and status updates
Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team
Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios
Participate in the development of new frameworks and administration of QA process tools and supporting technologies
Running and analyzing weekly/Quarterly test campaigns
Work in a Scrum team collaborating with Software Developers Business Analysts Test Analysts and Support Analysts to achieve a common objective which is delivering high quality products to our customers in a timely manner.
Document and report progress risks issues and defects to ensure continuous improvements of quality assurance practice is maintained.
About the ideal candidate

BTech or MTech in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
Experience working in a distributed environment where multiple components and services interact via APIs and messages.
Overall exp of 38 years with more than 3 years of relevant QA experience
Airline/Airport domain experience is a plus.
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium protractor postman etc. will be an added plus but not a must.
Experience handling QA in an environment with external devices (e.g. kiosks mobile devices) will be an added plus.
Knowledge on Test Management tools like ALM is desirable
Basic knowledge of UML XML SQL and scripting tools.
Understanding and demonstrable experience with Web Application testing Web Service testing Desktop Application testing and Mobile Application testing is a plus
Willingness and ability to propose enhancements to existing frameworks and processes.
Ability to think out of the box.
Good communication skills.
