Domestic Helper

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping:

Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming rooms and surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
Organize household items and ensure that areas are tidy and in order.
Laundry & Ironing:

Wash, dry, and fold laundry for household members.
Iron clothes and linens as needed, ensuring they are properly cared for and stored.
Cooking & Meal Preparation:

Prepare and cook meals according to household preferences or dietary requirements.
Assist with grocery shopping and restocking pantry items.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and cooking utensils after use.
Childcare (if applicable):

Assist with childcare tasks, including supervising playtime, helping with homework, and ensuring children’s safety.
Provide support with bedtime routines, meals, and activities as required.
Errands & Shopping:

Purchase household supplies, groceries, and other necessary items as directed.
Run occasional errands, such as picking up prescriptions or managing dry cleaning.
Pet Care (if applicable):

Feed and provide fresh water to pets.
Assist with pet care tasks, such as walking, grooming, and cleaning up after pets.

Miscellaneous Duties:

Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the employer.
Perform other tasks as requested by the employer to support the household’s needs.

Skills & Qualifications
Basic Skills: Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Cooking Skills: Knowledge of preparing basic meals; familiarity with dietary restrictions or specific cuisines is a plus.
Housekeeping Skills: Familiarity with cleaning methods, tools, and safe handling of cleaning products.
Childcare & Pet Care Skills (if needed): Basic understanding of safe practices and routines.
Communication: Ability to communicate with household members clearly and respectfully.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying items as needed.
Stamina for extended periods of activity.

Working Conditions
Primarily works indoors in a residential setting, with occasional outdoor tasks, such as yard work or walking pets.
