Senior Java Developer

Our client is a dynamic startup with a presence in both the US and India. (US based banking sector).

Here are the details of the role:

Position: Back-End Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Experience & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of software development experience with a focus on back-end development.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, with at least one year in a team leader role.
• Familiarity with Agile or other rapid application development methodologies.
• Expertise in back-end application design, software development, and automated testing.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think abstractly and strategically.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business capabilities through innovative backend solutions.
• High energy and enthusiasm for learning new technologies quickly.
• Solid hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture, Data-Centric Application Design, Event-Driven Systems, and tools like Kafka and Stream Processing Systems.
• Experience with database systems such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of firewalls, networking, and security practices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML, and CSS is a plus
