We are looking for a Junior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Release Manager who will join our Information Technology team and be part of the Salesforce Center of Excellence. As a Release Manager at Scotts Miracle-Gro, you will play a key role in the software and content delivery process by planning, coordinating and executing software and content releases. You will collaborate with product owners, software development and quality assurance teams, DevOps, information security, and IT operations teams to plan and schedule software releases and patches. You will be responsible for completing operational activities related to our Salesforce Commerce environment, such as user creation and deactivation, profile/permission set management, and other similar administration responsibilities. This role will primarily interface with other members of the Salesforce CoE team, but will also interface directly with merchandisers, content creators and other end users, throughout the process of providing content release support. We are looking for an individual who can help us manage the software release process from development to production. The successful candidate will ensure that the software and content is deployed with minimal errors and downtime while adhering to the company’s established software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
