Could you be our next planner buyer?Mission:As a Planner Buyer, our mission is to ensure timely availability of materials (raw materials and/or finished goods) by managing their replenishment. We use MRP to balance resources and demand effectively, guaranteeing that stock is available at the right place and time. Collaboration with Upstream and Downstream Planning Leaders, as well as Supply and Inventory Planners at our CDMX plant, is also a key part of our role.A typical day for you might include:Running the distribution requirement planning process within the designated perimeter. This includes defining and updating stock parameters to meet service level objectives while optimizing inventory levels. Additionally, managing the purchase order portfolio, analyzing stock discrepancies, and making necessary adjustments.Ensuring stock availability by analyzing and taking appropriate actions to keep various factors such as Pre-Shortage, Shortage, Stock Coverage, and Stock Health under control.Defining the default transportation mode using the Air/Sea Tool and following the workflow in case of any transportation mode changes. Managing customer requests workflows is also an integral part of the daily activities.In summary, a Planner Buyer’s Day is dynamic and involves overseeing multiple aspects of material replenishment and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Qualifications:This may be the next step in your career journey if you have:Knowledge and experience on ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE, MAPICS).< 3 years relevant experience in supply chain.Inventory and Supply Planning experience.Must be able to manage multiple projects/priorities effectively and efficiently.What’s in it for you?
