React Native Developer with QA

We’re seeking a skilled React Native Developer proficient in Expo, with a strong focus on iOS development, to help us elevate our mobile app offerings and provide seamless, high- performance experiences for our users. This role requires both mobile development expertise and rigorous QA testing to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications, with a significant emphasis on iOS, using React Native and Expo. Develop features that align with our mission to enhance environmental monitoring and provide clients with actionable insights.
• Collaborate: Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and other developers to translate complex data into user-friendly iOS features that meet our quality and performance standards.
• Optimize & Scale: Implement best practices in mobile app development to enhance iOS app performance, scalability, and seamless data integration.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive QA testing, including unit, integration, and regression tests, to guarantee app stability, quality, and high responsiveness, especially on iOS.
• Troubleshoot & Debug: Proactively identify and resolve technical issues and bugs, with a focus on ensuring smooth operation within the iOS development and production environments.

• Experience: 4+ years in mobile development, with a strong emphasis on iOS and a focus on React Native and Expo.
• Technical Skills: o Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Expertise in Expo, including experience with app publishing and updates, with a deep understanding of its capabilities on iOS.
• Strong foundation in native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C), with familiarity with Android (Kotlin/Java) as a plus.
• Experience with data-driven or environmental monitoring applications a bonus.
• QA Testing Abilities: Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Detox, Jest).
