Borealis performs service work, delivers fuel to customers, and has a network of bulk transport vehicles moving fuel across Canada and the USA.
Job Description
Summary:
This position will be vital to the business’s daily and long-term goals. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible environment. As Borealis grows, successful applicants can grow with the company and progress to more senior or management roles.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the interface between our customers, our service team and our fuel delivery team. Customer service, both internal and external, is emphasized here as a key role for Borealis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interface with new and existing customers in person and via phone, email, and text.
- Coordinate and schedule service work with the local service team.
- Dispatch drivers on fuel delivery routes, providing support after hours on a rotational basis.
- Manage customer information and dispatch work in the ERP system (RCC and NetSuite).
- Work with our area manager to create job estimates and coordinate sub-trades and materials.
- Receive materials and manage the inventory.
- Maintain office organization.
- Maintain safety, inspections, maintenance and compliance records.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the propane industry is an asset, but we can train.
- Customer Relations and/or Sales experience.
- Strong understanding of computers and cloud ERP systems.
- Strong administration experience.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Friendly and outgoing.
Education / Experience Requirement:
- High school Degree.
- A university or college degree in business administration is an asset.
Job Type:
Full-time work from our Whitehorse office and the ability to occasionally work after hours and weekends.
