.Médicos Sin Fronteras en México A.C.SEEKSPSYCHIATRISTto work in INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN MISSIONSTo join our team in International Projects(Minimum availability of 6 months) Please upload your CV and motivation letter in English THIS JOB PROFILE IS IN ENGLISH SINCE THIS IS THE REQUIRED LANGUAGE FOR THE JOBOBJECTIVE OF THE POSITIONTo collaborate with MSF medical staff on the integration of psychiatric treatment with basic healthcare services in order to ensure the treatment of patients suffering from severe and common psychiatric disorders.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide treatment for patients suffering from severe and common psychiatric disorders with specific attention to the cultural context.Provide training and supervision to national and international medical staff (doctors and nurses) on diagnosis and treatment of severe and common mental health disorders according to MSF guidelines.Participate as a member of the mental health team when present and offer supervision and support to national psychologists and counselors.Ensure that guidelines and psychotropic medications from MSF standard drug list are available in the project.Ensure that proper information on treatment and follow-up are collected in order to monitor the provision of care.Evaluate in-country available psychiatric services including possibilities for psychiatric hospitalization and the quality of these services.Form a relationship with MoH and explore the sustainability of psychiatric treatment.Establish collaboration/communication with medical specialties in the project in order to achieve a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.PROFILEEducation and formationMD degree, specialized training in psychiatry.Essential psychiatric specialization degree.ExperienceEssential working experience as a psychiatrist.Experience in training and supervision.LanguagesEnglish as primary language (B1-B2 level).Knowledge of French will be an asset.KnowledgeEssential working experience as a psychiatrist, at least two years after diploma.Experience in training and supervision.CompetenciesResults.Teamwork.Flexibility.Commitment.Stress management.POSITION CONDITIONSWork Venue: Where the needs of the project require it.Profits: Monthly remuneration: in the first 12 months, the bonus approximate gross monthly is USD $1,500. From the second year remuneration increases based on experience (previous and acquired) and the level of responsibility in the field. Private insurance coverage that includes medical coverage and hospital, temporary disability and life insurance. The organization also has an arranged medical evacuation if necessary. The expenses of stay in the land are covered: housing, basic services, cleaning and washing. Other expenses such as transportation, visas, transfer to the country of destination and displacements in the field will also be covered by MSF. Per diem or monthly per diem: mainly to cover meals and small personal expenses.Start: Depending on the needs of the project
