Loan Officer

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

• Actively promote the company’s loan products and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs.

Loan Assessment and Processing:

• Evaluate loan applications and assess applicants’ creditworthiness.
• Conduct background checks and verify financial documentation.
• Recommend loan approvals or rejections based on established criteria.

Loan Management:

• Ensure timely and accurate loan disbursements.
• Monitor loan repayment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Provide guidance to clients on loan terms, conditions, and repayment procedures.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information and loan transactions.
• Prepare regular reports on loan disbursement and repayment performance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of HND or Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.

Age Requirement:

• Candidates must be between 18 to 32 years.
