Restaurant Hostess

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations, ensuring that seating and wait times are efficiently coordinated.
• Oversee the front-of-house team to ensure smooth customer flow and maintain the cleanliness of the entrance area.
• Work closely with the Food and Beverage team to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by managing guest inquiries, accommodating special requests, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Maintain an organized and professional front-of-house area that reflects the restaurant’s high standards.

Qualifications and Specifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• 2+ years in a hostess or front-of-house role within the hospitality industry.
• Experience with reservation systems and customer service.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage seating arrangements and waiting lists efficiently.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure while managing multiple guest interactions.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
