We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Service Desk Officer to join our clients team to contribute to the delivering of expetional customer support.
Job Overview: You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations by providing technical support and assistance to the internal teams. You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role with professional services experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
